ABOUT

Iris Liu is a SAG-AFTRA actress, writer and producer based out of Los Angeles. She can be seen on several hit shows such as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, CW's All American, ABC's The Goldbergs, AppleTV+ anthology series Little America, Fatal Attraction on Paramount+ opposite Joshua Jackson, and guest stars on Hulu's new show The Other Black Girl. She made her feature film debut in the 2022 Wayfarer Studios picture, NEVER BETTER, opposite Sofia Bryant and Piper Curda. She can be seen recurring in the final season of FOX’s 9-1-1: Lonestar, Season 2 of Peacock’s Based on a True Story and in the highly anticipated Sony Pictures feature "One of Them Days" opposite Keke Palmer.

 

Iris first fell in love with acting via the stage, and has led several plays and musicals, including the AAPI hip-hop musical, KRUNK FU BATTLE BATTLE, in a role originated by Broadway’s Joan Almedilla (Miss Saigon). Commercially, Iris has worked with prolific directors including Darius Marder, Tim Heidecker, Brian Billow, STYLEWAR, David Shane, Jess Coulter, Laura Murphy, Bianca Poletti, The Director Brothers, Dave Green and more. As a spoken word poet, she has opened for critically-acclaimed poets Sarah Kay, Phil Kaye and Rupi Kaur and been crowned “Slam Champion” repeatedly at Portland Poetry Slam. As a chef and food personality, Iris hosts "Bussin' Eats," a digital grilling show available to stream on YouTube and Facebook Watch.

Iris is represented by Elevate Entertainment and Smith & Hervey/Grimes Talent Agency and has studied at Diana Castle's The Imagined Life and Mornell Studios. A martial artist and dancer, Iris is a Level I Instructor of Jeet Kune Do at Eric Carr JKD in Los Angeles and is fluent in Spanish and conversational Cantonese.
